While working on research I ran across the following Miss Barbie boxes.
I never really noticed that Miss Barbie has two boxes. The first box has a yellow seat and the second has an orange seat. It also now has “Lawn Swing Inside” on the package. The rest of the box is the same. I love finding these items that I did not know or just did not see with Barbie. I have been collecting since I was sixteen and learning new things every day.
I recently found a vintage Barbie children sweater. I want to share, so more people can enjoy it. It's tagged @1964 Mattel Barbie. I love the embordered mirror image of Barbie on the sweater. It has stains but that is fine. Here is the before photo. I will try to remove the stains.
After working on the sweater I was able to get stains out. Just need to re-stitch the labels and it is perfect. I'd love to know more about the sweater. If someone has a catalog page that would be great.

Early American Girl items are very detailed. A lot of early items have no gold foil tag or markings to indicate that they are American Girl.
American Girl Samantha Party Treats has many items that are hard to find and identify. Party Treat comes with a platter with a paper doily, 2 fans, 4 petit fours with candles, 2 ice cream bombs, 2 nosegays, and an acrylic holder.
The platter is white with gold trim. It is marked.
The paper doily is the size of the platter. It has no marks.
The fans are in off-white and they have no marks. And there is a generic one in white, it is not American Girl.
The petit fours come with wholes for the candles and come in yellow, pink, orange, and green. Note I have seen a photo that the later Party Treat had 6 petit fours.
The candles have roses on the base; the roses come in pink & red. The candles have no marks.
The ice cream bombs are white with a red top and a cherry. The nosegays are pink roses with a paper doily.
The acrylic holder is clear and has no marks. There are two styles of holders.
Mattel came out with a Barbie Tea Set. There have been many changes and new add-on items. In the beginning, the color was shown as white and purple and at the end, it was white and pink.

In 1963 they did the same set. They changed it from a 4 place set to a 6 place setting. This set and a new add piece of salt and pepper. It has a new style in goblets this year. There is an extra Enchanted Evening and Ballerina plate. The catalog pages have it as white and pink but is it.
